We are coming home!
Everything went so smoothly today in regards to getting Ziva's visa. The driver left with the passport by 9:00 a.m., arrived in Kiev by 1:00 p.m., and we were at the Canadian Embassy by 2:00 p.m. After filling out the proper forms, we were told that we could return at 4:30 to pick up the visa. It was as simple as that!
I cannot find the words to accurately express how excited we are to be coming home. We have been gone just short of 9 weeks. It seems like such a long time ago that we left home with the anticipation of adopting our child. We have seen much, experienced much, survived much, and WAITED so very much! We left home as two but, praise God, we are returning as three.
We have a very early flight tomorrow. We are getting picked up at 3:00 a.m.! So if you try to call us on Thursday, chances are we will be sleeping...
